Tigers, Summer and Coffee

Traveling to Ireland is the best summer vacation I can think of. You can stay in Dublin and enjoy the city or you can travel by car to see this emerald green island. And you´ll want to go back again and again.

The irish people are so lovely, helpful and always have a smile for other people. My week in Dublin was fantastic. Just walking along the river Liffey or in Phoenix park is so relaxing.

I loved the visit to Dublin zoo where you can study the animals through glass windows.

These Meerkats is seen from the restaurant in the zoo. They were alert due to a peacock which landed near them.

AND to really enjoy riverdance and irish culture on Gaiety Theatre gives nourish to the heart.

Good coffee: Go to The Larder if you want good coffee, good food and great service.

Breakfast at The Larder and the coffee is so good. You get this feeling of vacation when someone is bringing your breakfast and clean up after you. That´s what I call luxury.

Temple Bar: Bookmarked in the weekends. Temple Bar has it all: Shops, restaurants, bars and irish music.

I could post A LOT of photos but just wanted to tell you that Ireland is a lovely country. The last photo is from Phoenix Park. The parks in Ireland are so well maintained that it´s a sight you wont miss. I really hope I can go back to Ireland next year.

Count Your Blessings

I often wish for winning some millions. And to move to a warmer place and live in a beach house for the rest of my life. The only problem is that I don´t gamble and find it very boring. AND that the chances for winning is way too low.

So I found out that I rather count my blessings than money I don´t have.

Today I met a friend who gave me the most loving smile and told me that I really mean something to her.

Well, that is so much more than a beach house and a couple of millions. In fact - those kind of meetings means the world.

So this chrysalis, wich holds a blessing inside, is just a reminder to me. That I´m blessed who have love in my life, good friends and creative hands.

This is made of polymer clay, sterling silver and fresh water pearls. And of course a ring to match the pendant. I love the way it turned out - and that it constantly remind me that I´m blessed. Every day. I really hope you are too - that you have something or somebody to give you that feeling.

Something to remember:
Count your blessings instead of your crosses
Count your gains instead of your losses
Count your joys instead of your woes
Count your friends instead of your foes
Count your smiles instead of your tears
Count your courage instead of your fears
Count your full years instead of your lean
Count your kind deeds instead of your mean
Count your health instead of your wealth
Love your neighbor as much as yourself

Inside The Chrysalis

Some new polymer clay chrysalis with prayers inside of them. These polymer clay pendants are so much more than just some jewelry. They hold small pieces of hope, dreams and future. I´m so grateful to Lori Wilkes for her tutorial on these. In secret I share what are my deepest wishes.

The chrysalis holds the secret of a beautiful butterfly.

This fragile creature will not be able to fly if you touch it. Just like us - if someone hurts us enough it can take years to learn to fly again.

There are so much evil in the world. Sometimes it seems like nothing can be done. But if everyone do just a little, everything will change.

Sometimes a smile is enough - sometimes a prayer makes the different.

Don´t ever underestimate your ability to make a difference for people you meet.
