All It Takes

Just a little sunbeam is all it takes. A little warm light on a gray day. We have had this long and cold winter and it never seemed like spring would ever come.

Finally the sun is out where I live. I wanted to celebrate spring and dived into my stash. I found this yarn from Fleece artist and thought it would look nice.

Found just the perfect beads for the scarf.
But it was a bit too muddy in a way. It needed some light, some color and some sparkle. So I added a wonderful orange light and called it sunbeams. Also found in my stash. And had to order another skein to get the result I wanted. So much for stash diving. LOL!!

I like the way the two colors make a whole of the scarf. And I get a lot of comments on it.

I added stripes evenly while knitting the scarf and knitted the last part in orange. This actually works. I could do that again.

The Hitchhiker pattern is just so much fun - but in the end it gets a little boring.

After all I have already knitted three of them. Anyway - I am sure I will knit more...

A great mindless knit actually. And it is lovely to wear. Some sock yarns are cold but this one is warm and soft.

So, there you have it. Have a lovely weekend - and find a sunbeam to warm you up.

A single sunbeam is enough to drive away many shadows

I would have loved to pin it to my Pinterest board, but this is not allowed, why?
It's good advertisement for your designs and your blog.

    1. Thank you so much Ann. Well about pinterest - I have gotten so many photos stolen and pinned with a link to the person who stole them that I decided to cut that out. I found my photos on blogs, Facebook and other sites.

  5. It is lovely! The colour combination is splendid. And I think your blog with your colourfull projects is a sunbeam itself for a lot of people, including myself.

  10. Superdupert sjal.
Klem
