Sun, Summer And Scarf

Not that wild in real life... LOL!!!
Well, not quite summer yet. But as the days get longer there are hope for it to come soon.

In the meantime I can use my new scarf.

This summer thinking comes from the Kauni yarn in orange and red - it is like a sunrise on a warm summer day.

I have had this darling turquoise Kauni yarn lying in my stash for some time. I had enough of it for a very long scarf.

I also found this other orange red Kauni yarn to pair with it.

I knew that I would run out of the sunrise (the yarn that is - LOL).

But no way I was going to buy a new skein. I call it a design element instead.

Anyway, I took some other orange and knitted my name and year of knitting it.

And added a knitted tag on the end with a button, also from stash.

I am actually very pleased with it. Kauni is kind of just the right thickness, not too thick and not too thin.

Sort of between Finull and Holst supersoft. I should use it more for scarves and shawls maybe.

And maybe I have a lot more in my stash. Yes, I do. I must find a project to use for it. Yes, I should. I have a lot of favorites on Ravelry. Must check them out.
Lone, your are talking to yourself - that is a very bad sign... LOL!!!

A comfort zone is a beautiful place, but nothing ever grows there

Hilsen Tove/fargeneforteller.
