Norwegian Case Of Nuts

Not everyone goes to London with bags of nuts in their luggage. Well, I do. Quality is one thing. Another, that it is not that easy finding proper nuts in small stores in central London. Believe me, I have tried. And since the funniest thing to do in this large city is feeding the local wild life - one has to be prepared.

So I was. And what a fun thing to bring out those bags of nuts and suddenly a lot of squirrels and birds shows up to get some fast food lined up in my hand. The squirrels simply picks the nuts from the hand. And so do the birds. I think it is extraordinary to experience that. So close to squirrels that normally hide where I live.

I just wanted to share a few glimpse of that - and wish you a lovely weekend.

  1. O, this is so precious! Great pictures, I love them.
The little bird is a 'great titmouse', we have several of them in our small garden, they are so cute, we even have 2 little families now, with little ones. (when I crochet outside, they come to sit almost next to me, I am gonna try to give them nuts as well, and let's hope they will land on my hand as well)
It is obvious you had a great time in London!
