|Finally I am happy with the stripes on my new sweater.|
|Before unraveling - did not like the outcome of the stripes...|
Almost done before binding off for sleeve holes - I realized that the stripes were not at all what I was looking for.
The project ended on the bottom of my box of other unfinished projects. Until I found out: Unravel and get the move on that sweater. So I did.
Unraveling is after all a very fast task. Over in a minute and the sweater was ready for some new and more likeable stripes.
This is my fourth from a pattern that has been highly modified to fit a thinner yarn. You can see the one I use the most here.
I love the colors in the stripes. I have started one sleeve and will knit stripes on both sleeves all the way up.
I think this is going to be a really cool sweater - after all, one is never too old to be cool... Or something like that.
You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream
