There are no words that can describe what Norway is going through right now after the terror attack in Oslo and on the island Utøya friday. Join us in your prayers and thoughts.
As Stine Renate Håheim, who was at Utøya when the terrorist shot over 80 young people, said:
Ifone mancan show somuchhate, think about howmuch lovewe can allshowtogether.
My thoughts go out to the young people that have lost their lives and their families. I won't try to convey my condolences, in times like this it seems no amount of words can make amends.
I was very saddened when I heard about the deaths of so many young people. I don't understand how someone could be so full of hate. A terrible tragedy.
How sad this tragedy makes me feel, my heart weeps with the parents who have lost their child. I cannot begin to imagine the suffering. Please, peaceful people of Norway, do not let one man destroy the beautiful and tolerant society that you have built.
We have been following the news story here in Canada and our hearts and prayers go out to all the people there and especially to those who have lost loved ones. It is very sad this can happen but I really appreciate the comment you had at the end and I do believe there can be a lot of strength if we showed that much in love instead.
