Colors Growing Every Day

In spite of tiny needles the scarf is growing stitch by stitch. I´m having a bit of trouble with the yarn. It´s so loosely spun that it some times brakes during knitting. And there´s too much black, green and red compaired to the other colors. So I have to improvise a lot.

I´m taking out a lot of the black and the green - to get more vibrant color combinations. And it works. I think the scarf will look great when finished. After all it just a scarf - and the gauge and other stuff is not that important.

Just as in life - we seem to worry about things that never happen or don´t mean a thing. So instead of putting the project away I´m determind to finish it - and wear it this winter. Oh, and I can´t wait!!!

    It's so beautiful, I actually like the depth the darker colours create, it makes the scarf appear so cosy and warm

    Det var også min erfaring med det garn. Den er gal med farvesammensætningen, på en eller anden måde. En skam, for det er jo ikke billigt garn. Du redder det nu flot. Det bliver fint:-)

    I think it's wonderful. As a non-knitter I have no idea how you get the intricate patterns that you do. So is it exciting to watch your results:)

    Ooooh, I love this! Love it! I have never tried knitting with two varigated yarns, but it makes a wonderful structure. Glad to know I'm not the only one who has started preparing for winter...

    Thank you Nina Lise - you should try it out. It gives a new way of knitting pattern and the colors play together. But find a better yarn than this...

    This beautiful scarf has stolen my heart. I went to the wool shop today, and bought 2 big skeins of Regia autumn colour wool. I am going to try it too.... Wish me luck ! Rozemie
