I am not completely satisfied with their shape though.
We all have areas we manage better. Bigger objects are obviously one of mine.
I am not that good on small objects - my fingers seems too big... But the birds seems to work anyway.
The colors are great and they look kind of fresh dangling under my ears.
I tend to make anything creative into several colors. Always nice to choose from when wearing something colorful.
The words can not be that long though. These birds are inspired by the ornaments I made for gifts.
And I must add: I am knitting a long sweater in addition to the birds making. I will show you later - right now the photos does not compliment the sweater.
Get out and spread your wings.
And make so much wind, that the ones who do not like your movements will be blown away
They are so cute. I had a go at making little birds and it is not as easy as one would think - some were too tiny and some were too chunky. I will have to have another go. I adore your bright colours - perfect for summer
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Lottie!! I know - it really is difficult to get them into proper bird shape. I will also have another go!!! And another and another!! LOL!!
DeleteI like them a lot. You are an artist. I think you managed great with these tender little things :) And I like your own sentence : I read it this morning and it gave me the strength and the guts not only to go to the hairdresser (I do not like hairdressers normally), but I did something totally different with my hair, that I like a lot, but did not dear to do. So I spread my wings a lot and made lots of wind.... :) Thank you and happy weekend,
ReplyDeleteOh, thank you so much Annelies!! And I am so glad you shared your story!! Fantastic!!!!!! You rule!!!!

Thank you so much Stacy!!! Glad you like the quote - it simply has to be said!!!
DeleteYou wrote that quote?? I'm writing it down in my special book ;o)
ReplyDeleteYes I did Stacy!!! Clear and simple.. And yet important to do just that!!!
DeleteBeautiful quote Lone that is so inspiring. I'm putting it over my craft desk and will think of you each time I read it! The little version of the birds came out just perfect--so nice to have all the colors to pick from. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Debbie!!! I am so honored that you have put it over your craft desk!!
ReplyDeleteTusen takk mimouna!!!
DeleteSuch cheerful little friends, I imagine them singing softly in your ears all day. They would cheer me up on these gloomy winter days.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Jan!!!
DeleteYou are the first and only polymer artist on my blog list, and I am in awe over what you can do with clay!
ReplyDeleteOne day, when my classes for the season are done and our house has been emptied and demolished and life goes back to normal-ish, I would love to do a small swap with you just for fun - If you are up for it. Knitting, polymer or both from you, and something fabric from me - just a fun little project to hang with my friends art from abroad the world. Sounds
Interesting?
Thank you so much Nina Lise!!! Let´s find out about a swap later on. Right now I am preparing an exhibition with colorful knits :-)
